Tommy, he continues to show remarkable progress. They are getting him up now, and walking him in the halls. This past Saturday he put on his own clothes. They have removed all of the drainage type tube except one and only has one IV port for medicines as needed. He says the pain is less and his hair is coming back pretty strong. Will be surprised if he doesn't get out by this weekend

Hello Tom
It is Wednesday night here in Japan and not quite 48 hours from the completion of Chads Surgery Monday night. He is in a HCU unit which iS between an iCU unit and regular ward. He seems to be doing fairly well, has some unwanted lymph gland drainage or leakage going on, as well as persistent low blood pressure. His color looks good, his hair is beginning to come back in and his spirit is good. He has some internal pain going on as well but he says he can handle it. We are going to focus our prayers on his blood pressure getting back to normal and the internal drainage to end. I know this has been traumatizing to Chad, but he is already wanting to get better so he can get out and get busy. He is very aware of how much so many people have him their prayers. Give our greetings to all there. And thank you for praying for Letha and me. We are doing fine and loving this precious time with our daughter-in-law and three of our Grandchildren>

The good news keeps coming. Chads pulse is down. His blood pressure is down and he is being moved from HCU back to a regular ward! That means visitation restrictions will be more relaxed and he can begin to look forward to his coming home again
